Mo-vember's a-Comb'ing!

Yes, that's right - we're almost at the end of this month, which means Movember is almost hair! QOC member David Onkst would like to invite fellow Y-chromosome carriers to take advantage of the once-a-year chance to be part of the QOC Team in the worldwide Movember charity event. National Orienteering Day is this Sunday!

Learn to navigate through Springfield's Lake Accotink Park using a map and compass to find the checkpoints we've placed on trails. This is an easy sport to learn, a great team building activity, and ideal for families who enjoy the outdoors. You don't need to sign up in advance; just show up between 12pm and 2pm this Sunday, September 19, 2010 and a club member will help you get started with a bit of newcomer instruction, and then you can start your hike or run.
