We thank all the volunteers so much for your help at this event - we know that this map is quite far away for most people and the terrain is quite challenging and exhausting, so we appreciate you being willing and able to drive all the way up and help out.
First of all, we'd like to thank Aaron and Laura Linville for running the e-punch table the entire time, we quite literally could not have done this event without you. Also, thank you Laura for putting out and collecting the remote start. Also a huge thank you to our registration volunteers Jana Seidlova, Matyas Minar, and Michal Jarnik.
Next, we'd like to thank Jan Merka for helping hang controls the day before the event- it was a huge help!
An extra thank you to Ted Good for moving one of the misplaced controls (#107) which were very far out into the map, so we very much appreciate it. Also thank you to Glenn Pastel for letting us know about the issue with the missing flag at control #102.
A massive thank you to Jon Torrance, Rob Field, Patrick Field, Matt Smith, Lydia Andrews, and Michal Jarnik for picking up controls after the event. We know this terrain is not easy (both mentally and physically), so we greatly appreciate you going back out there even after running a course. Also thank you to Nadim Ahmed and Jan Merka for being ready to help with control pickup if needed.
Lastly, thank you to David and Reiko Rager for helping us pack up the meet.
And thank you so much to the Mountain Rescue team for being on standby to help out in case of any injury! Although we are glad we didn't end up needing any medical aid, we still appreciate your readiness and willingness to help out.
