Two hours of class followed by a learning course in the woods at Rockwood Park. Learn the sport of orienteering - how to read a map and navigate in the woods using a map and compass. This course is for hikers, backpackers, adventure racers, scouts, and all who love the great outdoors!

Take I 95 South to exit 79. Then take I 195 through the .70 cents toll onto VA 76-Powhite Parkway. Pay the .50 cents exit at Courthouse Road. VA 653. Take Court house Road South 1.4 miles to a left exit into Rockwood Park. Follow the orienteering signs to the Nature Center.
