The Richmond Area Night-O was held on Friday, 17 June, at the Harry G Daniels Park at Iron Bridge on the South side of Richmond, VA. The Skies cleared just in time for the 26 "Night Owls" to go out on 14 starts, evenly split between the Novice and Intermediate courses, set in a score format. 2 drove from the DC area, and one from Norfolk. Adventure Teams, Families, and outdoor groups all enjoyed the night. Special thanks goes to Kristi Orcutt for reserving the shelter and to Ellen Stefaniak&Frank Emmolo for control pickup. Also to both Kristi and Ellen for helping register the group, preparing the maps, and providing instruction to the newcomers.
