Another Awesome Weekend with Our QOC Family!

We didn’t let the weather scare us — instead, we planned for it carefully. Thanks to the hard work of so many volunteers, much of which happens behind the scenes, everything was in place for the big day. From fun and challenging courses to maps, shuttles, and the volunteers who made it all happen, it was truly a team effort!
Even with the winter weather — and we mean real winter (snow on the ground for a whole week isn’t exactly common!) — and challenging terrain, all 148 individuals/groups made it back safely.
A huge thanks goes out to:

• Nadim Ahmed for being an excellent course setter and mapper.
• Greg Lennon for his patience with web and registration.
• Kathleen Lennon for her inspiring work on social media.
• Mike Newman for handling permits and shuttles.
• Craig Shelden and Valerie Meyer for map production.
• Valerie Mayer and Amy Louden for their amazing e-punch work.
• Harry Jones and Jenny Kuenz for their reliable help with registration.
• John Cumings and Jane Leggett, our fantastic beginner instructors.
• Sharmagh Yepremian, Dawn Savage, and Jan Merka, along with dogs Oliver and Ray, for managing the remote start.
• Reiko and David Rager for making sure we have everything we need to have successful meet.

And at the end of this challenging day, these awesome folks headed back into the woods for control pickup: Craig Shelden, Matt Smith, Stephen Pepe, Howie Weinstein, Alex Azerov, Glen Pastel, Aaron Linville, and Jane Leggett.
A special thank you to Jana Seidlova for her help with setup, registration, remote start, and jumping in wherever an extra hand was needed.
It was great sharing this duty as directors together — having each other’s backs made all the difference.
