This, QOC's second mountain bike orienteering event, featured fabulous weather and clearly challenging courses - the course setter admits to having thought, based on the results of last fall's Tomahawk Tumble, that the winning times would be at least slightly faster. Fortunately, this seems to have been a case of more of a good thing being a good thing as far as the participants were concerned. Thanks to all who showed up. Thanks particularly to Amy Louden for volunteering her whole afternoon ably staffing registration and otherwise doing what needed to be done, including picking up several of the controls. Thanks also go to Jan Merka and Victor Lin for their control pickup labours despite having put in great efforts in their races.
