Thank you so much to all 202 of you who joined our event Sunday! We had a great day with orienteers of all ages enjoying an excellent selection of courses set up by Will Hubsch and Elina Breton (thank you both!). Countless hours go into field checking, prepping the maps, designing, and setting up the course to make sure we have an awesome day of navigating and adventuring!
Participants enjoyed the challenge of finding controls in the demanding terrain of PWFP. I loved hearing the excitement from those finishing their first ever Orienteering course as well as those completing their first advanced course. Equally rewarding was the positive feedback from seasoned Orienteers about the great courses! Thank you to everyone who braved the commute and chilly temperatures to make the event so much fun.
It was fantastic to see so many club members sporting the QOC jackets. Thank you to Kathleen and Greg Lennon for organizing the design, ordering and delivery!
