This year the Stumble will be hosted by SVO at Pine Grove Furnace State Park, near Cooke, PA (about 35 min NW of Gettysburg, or 1.5 hrs N of Frederick MD). For up-to-date details, head to URL http://www.furlong47.com/svo/.
Key Details:
- Mass start is at 11:00am.
- The Long-Stumble is ~15 km in length, with a commemorative towel for the first 20 finishers and the first 5 female finishers.
- The Short-Stumble is ~9 km with commemorative towels for the first 15 finishers and first 5 female finishers.
- White, yellow, and orange recreational courses will be available. Starts for these courses will be anytime between 11:30 and 1 (register at the event; no preregistration needed).
- Cost is $22 for the Long-Stumble, $15 for the Short, normal SVO fees ($5 for members of QOC or SVO, $8 for nonmembers) for recreational courses).
- To register for either Stumble email Brad Whitmore (whitmore@stsci.edu) saying if you'll run the Short or Long course.
- Deadline for emailing Brad is Nov. 9.
